Great place .Clean, plenty of seating. Efficient friendly staff . Makes traveling with Concord coach very easy. Well stocked vending machines. They also have racks of maps and brochures for local and statewide attractions .
It is fairly gray and grim looking but the staff are helpful and friendly. There are vending machines, an ATM, and restrooms available, which is good. Easy to get to via car (you could even walk here if you wanted, I suppose).
After a hasty departure from my hotel I arrived here and the guys at the counter were great. Super friendly even while dealing with an influx of folks whose travel plans were disrupted due to storms and flight cancelations. They were super helpful and knowledgeable. One of them even offered me a cup of coffee from his own staff after telling me there wasn't anywhere close to buy one. Awesome service.
This grim, gray spot pretty much kills the romance of New England travel. There are vending machines, bathrooms, and ticket counters. It’s a 10-minute drive to downtown Portland from here. Glum and utilitarian.
Mz Stephanie at the ticket counter was really kind and went out of her way to help me, what a nice lady. Staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. Very clean facilities here also.
The transit center was easily accessible and was very clean. They have a variety of vending machines for snacks. Their Quick-Trak kiosk was out of service at the time I visited. The video attached shows our train arriving at the station.
If you have to go anywhere and the Amtrak goes there, take it out of Portland. I commute to work in Wells each day. I'm painfully shy. I usually don't like public transportation at all. I absolutely love these people, and this station. Free wifi, free bad coffee, and lots of free smiles. Informative, helpful, and well maintained.
This place is a good choice for getting around if you prefer to save money on driving and parking, especially in Boston and Logan Airport. I've used the bus for years on personal and business travel and it rarely disappoints. Comfortable coaches, friendly drivers, easy loading and unloading plus cheap parking - what's not to like?
